Balsam Fir Trees

A medium-sized tree generally reaching 40 to 60 feet in height and 1 to 1 1/2 in diameter. The tees name comes from the many resinous(of the nature of or resembling resin)blisters contain a sticky fragment, liquid resin. It is also referred to as "Blister Pine."

Larch Trees

The Larch Tree loses its needles in the autum(fall). These large handsome trees can grow to 260 feet tall and 850 years of age. It demands full sunlight and grows well on fire-blackened soil. The fire releases nutrients which the Larch Tree uses to grow. The thick bark and its habits make this species resistant to fire.
Poison Oak

Poison Oak is found in shaded areas such as in coastal redwoods, the pioson oak becomes a tall climbing vine supporting itself and other vegetation or upright objects by means of aerial. Coming in contact with poison oak leaves or stems at any time of the year cab cause an allergic response in humans.
